HCS Meet of Miles
In her debut race as a member of the team, Alexandra Carrizales set a new team record in the women’s track mile at the Howard County Striders Meet of Miles. Her time of 5:08 earned her 1st for women and 2nd place overall in the race.
Annapolis 10 Mile Run
Many members of the team embraced the humidity and hills at the Annapolis 10 Mile Run. The top finishers for the team were Hannah Betman, who defended her title for another year with a time of 1:00:07, and Clark Otte who placed a strong 2nd with a time of 52:53. Other notable award winners included 1st Masters female Caroline Bauer (1:05:26), 1st Grandmasters male Jicheng Liu (1:02:01) and 2nd Grandmasters male Jason Tripp (1:02:10).
