85 runners came out for the Howard County Striders Weekly series race at Hammond Middle School. It served as the graduation race for the Hibernation to 5k program. Congratulations to these new runners! Mark Eagles and Claire Sivitz were the 1 mile winners. Adam Wytko and Joy Lewis led the 5k runners.

Legends of the Fall Race #1

Forty runners came to Northfield Elementary School for the first race of the Legends of the Fall series, despite the light rain and overcast skies. Fully half the field was comprised of graduates and coaches from the Striders’ Zero to Weekly beginning running program, who ran this as their graduation race. Mark Eagles took the men’s finish, and Terri Wytko ran a strong race to top the women.
