All Fruit Relay
“The Most Delicious Relay in Town”
21 punly named teams came out for the striders all-fruit relay at Oakland mills middle school. Onlookers may have done double takes as apples, oranges, melons, coconuts, pineapples and other fruits made their way around the neighborhood. The race consisted of four two mile loops.Team Could ‘ve had a v8 were the male team winners. Speed bob square pants were the mixed team winners, and team plum was the first all female team.

41 runners enjoyed a beautiful spring day while running the paths at Lake Elkhorn/Savage trail. Karsten Brown and Carrie Anderson led the way in the 5k race. Season series point winners were also presented with a running hat.
