RRCA Club Challenge 10M
At our very own highly anticipated and infamous Club Challenge 10 Mile, the team once again battled the hills and rainy weather to bring home several team wins!
The highlight of the day was the team’s Co-Ed Overall win, for the 2nd year in a row! The women also claimed three team titles: Overall Female, Under 40 Female and Masters Female. The men earned the Grandmasters Male team win.
The team was led by Adam Sachs on the men’s side (8th overall, 55:36) and Hannah Betman on the women’s side (2nd overall, 59:04). In the Masters division, the winning women’s team was led by Caroline Bauer (1st Masters, 1:02:36) and the men by Carlos Renjifo (8th Masters, 57:24). In the Grandmasters division, the winning men’s team was led by Jason Tripp (3rd Grand Masters, 1:02:45) and the women’s team was led by Deb Hicks (2nd Grand Masters, 1:13:05).
The morning was a team effort, with runners working together on the course, volunteering their time to make the event a success, and cheering on teammates. It was a true testament to the strength of the team and a preview of the great things to come this year!
