Jake Englander lives in Columbia and has run competitively since high school. He has masters bests of 17:04 (5k) and 1:17:37 (HM), as well as older PRs of 4:57 (mile), 16:44 (5k), 35:13 (10k), 58:02 (10 miles), and 2:45:07 (marathon). He previously coached the University of Illinois’s cross country and track clubs from 2008-2012. Jake can often be found on either the Wincopin or Patapsco trails, or on the bike paths with his training partner Joseph (age 4). He looks forward to the day that his training partner surpasses him.
