DESCRIPTION:The Sunday Strides (formerly “weekly series”) races are conducted at various locations around Howard County. Separate races ranging in distance from 1 mile to 15 kilometers are scheduled for throughout the spring\, fall\, and winter seasons. Each series culminates in the distribution of series awards. While these races emphasize participation\, we also reward performance. Some additional details: \n\n\n\nWater will be available on longer courses. \n\n\n\nAll races begin at 2pm unless otherwise noted \n\n\n\nShow up no more than 30 minutes before the race to register. \n\n\n\nRunners of all abilities and ages are welcome\, including non-Striders! \n\n\n\nSorry\, no bathroom facilities will be available 🙁 \n\n\n\nCourse finding is your responsibility! Minimal markings will be provided\, but races are on open roads or paths and there may be few or no course marshals.

DESCRIPTION:The Two Person Relay is an annual track relay. Teams consist of two people\, with each partner alternating quarter-mile (400-meter) laps. The total distance is 5 miles (20 laps on the track)\, so each team member runs 2.5 miles (10 laps). You can have a partner pre-selected\, or just show up race day and find a teammate.
