The wind blew dust in the faces of runners and caused the big clock to come crashing down. The runners kept running and the clock kept ticking. Frank Hemingway and Heidi warts (3rd overall) won the 2M race. Michael Wegner took 2nd place with a 12:24 finish, a noteworthy achievement in the predominantly more experienced field. Husband and wife team, Pekka and Sari Stenholm, had no trouble fending off the rest of the 10K field. Doug Kuderna won the 15K race.
