Despite the particularly hot weather, many runners displayed their talent in the 5K and 1M races at Swansfield. Twelve year old, Alyssa Shouse, came swiftly across the finish to win the women’s 1 miler, with Louise Richter in 2nd. Mike Dusenbery took the overall 1 mile win. Karsten Brown led the 5K with a wide margin and Elyse Borisko won the women’s event.
