Delvaughn Rooks held off Eric Bell at the home stretch as they fought for 4th place for an exciting finish in the 2M race. Remus Medley was the overall 2M winner. Brittney Rooks took 1st place for the females. Ted Poulos and Megan Henly were the 10K winners. Doug Kuderna and Amelia Mullican were the 15K winners.

Andrew Downey (7 yrs) and new weekly runner, Alex Driessen (11yrs) ran very impressively against many adults..many adults that wish they could run that fast. Note: I don't have Greg Schuler's time. Timing error. He was close behind Doug Kuderna. Ronnie Wong and Ed Silverman not listed, accidentally went off course in the 10K race)

It may have been a "first" - more 15K runners than 10K'ers at a Striders weekly race. Karen Young (15K), Jeanne Larrison (10K), and Megan Henly (2M) took 1st place in the women's competition. Sixteen year old, Eric Bell, impressed older and more experienced runners with his 2nd place finish in the 2 mile event. Mehdi Addadi (15K), Seth Geoghegan (10K), and Ted Poulos (2M) were the overall winners. In true Halloween spirit, Jeanne Larrison was dressed for the holiday and had treats for all the finishers. Eric Katkow used the 15K race as a training run for the JFK 50 miler, which he has run many times in the past.
