HCS David Tripp Scholar/Athlete Awards

These awards are merit (not need) based, and will be granted to Howard County residents who are graduating seniors from any high school in Howard County.

The intention is to recognize male and female winners as well as runners up, provided that there are deserving candidates.

The criteria for consideration include outstanding achievement in the classrom and as a runner in cross country, track and/or in road races.

If you feel you may qualify, you are encouraged to apply. There are no restrictions as to the number of award winners who represent any single high school.

This scholarship will be awarded annually to a graduating high school senior who is a resident of Howard County, based on the following criteria:

Running endeavors, and community activities in the athletic arena.
