The 20th annual Hinte-Anderson 50K HAT RUN was held on March 29, 2008 in Susquehanna State Park. The course was changed from previous years to assist in the preservation of the Park trails. The new course consisted of a 3.6 mile loop at the start followed by two identical 13.7 mile loops. This resulted in additional elevation being added to the course, bringing the total climbing to approximately 10,000 feet. The course also included 6 stream crossings. 392 runners started the race and 328 finished in cold, windy conditions. (Complete results from the HAT Run)
