Next Step 10K/10M
This program is for 2 groups of runners. The first group would be made of runners who have been running 3 to 5 miles on a run and would like to attempt their first 10K (6.2 miles). The second group is for experienced runners who want to improve their 10K/10M times by training in a group and who may want to join the Next Step Half/Full marathon class that begins in July.
Experienced coaches will place runners into groups of similar ability and goals with a coach to help with the workouts. Training schedules for both groups will be followed with weekly coach feedback. Running logs submitted weekly is mandatory.
The program is typically held in the late spring (April - June time frame).
