There were 332 runners who showed up to race the inaugural High Cloud Snapple Half Marathon in DC, on the C&O canal tow path, despite the cold and snowy weather. It was frigid. The snow falling during the race made it both pretty to see, but also difficult for grip and speeding. But our "Heroes" group braved it anyway. And had some great results/times, especially given the circumstances. We have some pictures that we can send to you later. All in all, a well organized inaugural race, and a very good day for the HCS Striders.
